Growing up in New Orleans, Kim’s grandmother had one rule in the kitchen: if you are going to make it, make it right. Her German Chocolate Cake was the proof. Rich, moist chocolate cake made with real cocoa, real butter, and real buttermilk. Topped with a coconut pecan frosting crafted entirely by hand, never from a can, never from a jar. Kim still makes it the same way at Queen Zuri Bakery.
This cake is made from scratch using Kim’s grandmother’s recipe and features homemade coconut pecan frosting, moist rich chocolate layers with real cocoa and buttermilk, and is available in Single Layer serving 8 to 10 people or Double Layer serving 14 to 18 people. It is perfect for birthdays, celebrations, gifting, or treating yourself. Each cake is baked fresh and ships within 2 business days. Refrigerate upon delivery to keep it fresh and delicious. Contains eggs, dairy including butter and buttermilk, and tree nuts including pecans and coconut. Made in a home kitchen. Not a nut-free or allergen-free facility. Limited batch offering only.
